Welcome the IP Clinic at Lincoln Law School of San Jose!
The IP Clinic is a first in many regards. It is the first patent clinic in Northern California and Silicon Valley, the first trademark clinic in Silicon Valley (the second in Northern California), and the first non-ABA school to ever be admitted into the USTPO clinic program.
Lincoln Law School of San Jose is distinguished in its offering of intellectual property (IP) coursework and focus. The Law School provides many courses relating to IP, and has many faculty members with a background specifically focused on patents, copyrights, or trademarks.
Additionally, the IP Clinic allows students to have “hand’s on” experience in working with in professors, inventors, businesses, and other local entities. Under the direction of a supervising attorney, students work with clients in areas of trademarks and patents. Students interact directly with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to file and prosecute patent and trademark applications. This IP Clinic is the only non-ABA USPTO approved clinic in the United States, and is one of only a limited number of patent and trademark clinics nationally.
We invite you to learn more about the Clinic through this website, and look forward to potentially providing you with services. If you have any questions, feel free to send us an email.
